~Learn how to harness your unique ability as an empath to create strong and meaningful connections with others

~Discover the importance of self-care and setting boundaries to maintain healthy and fulfilling relationships

~Cultivate empathy and compassion to approach each interaction with an open heart and a willingness to understand and support those around you

And back to this
swirling thought…

Let’s begin:

The world around us seems to be slipping through the cracks and so many of us can FEEL this inside our body…

We feel the energy between spaces
that isn’t tied to any logical explanation.

We feel the pain that isn’t shared
although we notice the slightest subtle shift in the room

We feel the tears that are masked with a smile and meanwhile are unsure what to say

… and sometimes our words are simply tucked away.

- we're diving into improving your connection skills

the ability to sit in the mud

And, more importantly, how to do this with your heart wide open-

As an empath or even the extent of HSP- you have a unique ability to feel and understand the emotions of others profoundly.

This can be a beautiful gift, but it can also be overwhelming at times.

It is essential to learn how to harness this gift and use it to create solid and meaningful connections with those around you.

The first step to improving your relational skills as an empath is to focus on self-care.

The ability to center yourself each day, a way to check in with yourself, to find stillness in the quiet moments of mediation, and to be rooted back into your body
before closing your eyes to sleep each night.

It's essential to take care of yourself and prioritize your well-being.

This means setting boundaries in the vastness of this world
to ensure that your circle remains sacred-

... holding the ones close that are most vested in co-creating a place of spiritual growth, being there for one another in the deepest forms of love from a place of consideration and supporting one another in the next phase of becoming who you are in the unknown.

This also means- practicing self-love and taking time to recharge and rejuvenate with a hike in the outdoors- feeling the gentle breeze on your cheeks.

When you're feeling balanced, centered, and whole, you'll be better equipped to engage with others healthily and fulfilling.

Next, it's important to practice active listening.

Empaths can naturally listen and truly understand others but it's essential to hone this skill and make it a deliberate practice.

When conversing with someone, focus on hearing what they're saying and understanding their perspective.

Their mud, their experience, and all the feels they are in is a snippet of their pathway and you are there to hold their hand

To hold the fibers of their heart, and many times, this means holding their tears.

Trust your inner compass
on being curious, asking
open-ended questions
and show genuine interest
in their experiences
and emotions.

This will not only strengthen your connection in the space between you but it will also make them feel valued and heard.

Another critical aspect of deepening the connection is to be mindful of your energy.

As an empath, you may find yourself absorbing the emotions of those around you, picking up bizarre sensations of heavily crowded rooms, which can be draining and overwhelming.

It's essential to be aware of the energy you're bringing into your interactions being mindful of where you are and articulate the space around you.

Surround yourself with positive and uplifting people, and be mindful of the impact of different relationships on your overall well-being.

In addition to being mindful of your energy, it's crucial to be aware of the power you're putting into the world, feel into your body when something feels disturbing, and be sure to set the place of where you are standing.

Way too frequently, we find ourselves swallowing up our words
over fears of how we are perceived, whether we will be judged for speaking our truth and what if there is no compassion or understanding on the other end…?

We tend to BE the peacekeepers
to our demise.

And then, we find ourselves curled up in bed a few days later slowly eating a ½ New York Cheesecake- add in the slices of fresh strawberries with a Sauvignon Blanc times 3

Wondering why…?

Why did we allow someone
to steamroll us…?

Why did our words get stuck
with a list of what should
have been said…?

Why did we allow
all of that again…?

So, in the upswing-

Being susceptible to the emotions of others

and fully embrace that YOUR energy can have a powerful impact
on those around you and the ones you love the most.

Strive to notice where your heart is
Be sure to emit love, positivity, and compassion in your interactions with others

Articulate your love daily, since the reality is - none of us are promised a tomorrow.

It’s vital to practice empathy and compassion in your relationships.

And by intentionally cultivating these qualities in your interactions with others is important
for you just as much as it is for each one of them.

Strive to see the world through the eyes of others and inside this approach arrive with an open heart and a willingness to understand and support those around you.

Each one of us
is constantly growing.

This ongoing improvement
is a journey of upward spiraling effect that requires dedication and
self-awareness.

By prioritizing self-care, practicing active listening, being mindful of your energy, and cultivating empathy and compassion, you'll be well on your way to creating strong and meaningful connections with the people in your life.

Embrace your unique gift as an empath/HSP, and use it to foster deep and fulfilling relationships that will bring joy and love into your life.
