Hi There Sister, and welcome to the swirling of thoughts…

Today could be the objective reality check you’ve been searching for

And possibly a message to land a bit more than what I can see from where I am and wherever you are.

Here’s a quick summary of what I’m sharing:

- Discover the hidden culprit behind your burnout and regain control over your mental and emotional well-being.

- Learn the damaging effects of misalignment burnout on your work performance, physical health, and overall life satisfaction.

- Uncover the steps to realign yourself and break free from the chaos of misalignment burnout.

Read on for the whole blog and take the first steps towards finding
inner peace and connection with the world around you.

So, you've been feeling burnout...?

Possibly, it's the never-ending workload, unrealistic expectations,
or a lack of harmony between work projects, team dynamics, and personal life.

But,

Have you considered that it might be something deeper…?

Something more internal…?

A place that, when you arrived initially, what the mission was, what the focus was, what the core business values was…

…it is no longer working out several years later.

Things change.

Humans change.

And sometimes it is down a deep rabbit hole where the gloom eventually becomes a cloud

…which doesn’t appear
to disappear fully.

Why…?

If you feel your professional life is constantly at odds with your personal values and beliefs, you may be experiencing misalignment burnout.

Yes, you read that right,
mis-alignment burnout in the work environment.

This is a real thing, and it can wreak havoc on your mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

It can be soul-depleting, leaving you feeling tired- even when your sleep is right on par with your tracking.

When you're in a state of misalignment, you constantly engage in activities and environments that go against your core values and beliefs.

It's like living a life that doesn't quite fit with who you truly are.

It’s facing the same patterns and monotonous cycles day in and day out a cog in the system that doesn’t appear to be oil on

Feeling like you’re 5 all over again
placing a quarter in the gumball machine and cranking the lever, hoping you get a blue one

and instead, here comes another red one again…?

The disappoint in why when there are 26 blues And only three were red.

So fast forward back to present day
that instead of these projects and responsibilities on your plate at one time was offering you kindling for your fire

only to realize, the list of responsibilities are dampening you down to a spark, even worse, a flicker.

External rewards like money may drive you, the “golden handcuff theory” and could be your reputation or the title that is given on the nameplate sitting there on your desk

So, you hold into hope that it will change- someday.

Vs.

following your intrinsic motivation
and finding harmony between your true self and your professional identity.

The consequences of misalignment burnout can be severe.

It can lead to depersonalization, detachment from your work, and a loss of self-efficacy, where you feel ineffective and unaccomplished.

This inner conflict can take a toll on your mental and physical health, leading to stress, anxiety, depression, and even physical symptoms like fatigue, migraines and the dysfunctional FREEZE.

It can also impact your work performance, productivity, and overall life satisfaction.

So, how do you realign yourself and break free from misalignment burnout…?

The first step is to unplug and reconnect with yourself.

Take a break from the chaos and nurture your mental and physical health.

Get enough sleep, eat well,
and exercise regularly.

Practice self-care
and self-compassion
through meditation
and journaling.

Be kind to yourself, and whatever you do, don't blame yourself for feeling overwhelmed.

Seek support from your loved ones and professionals. It's okay to ask for help and acknowledge that you're struggling. By nurturing yourself, you can begin the journey towards realignment and rediscover fulfillment in your personal and professional life.

Secondly, take the time to reassess your values and beliefs.

Reflect on what truly matters to you and how it aligns with your current work and life situation.

Are you living congruently with your core values or constantly compromising them for external rewards…?

Take the time to identify your core values and beliefs and evaluate how well they align with your current job and workplace culture

as in now, not for the idea of what it WAS seven years back or even a year ago.

If there is a mismatch, consider what changes you can make between your professional life to sync up with your personal values.

This could involve having open and honest conversations with your colleagues and superiors about your needs and values, or it could mean seeking out a new role or career path that better aligns with who you are at your core.

Whatever the necessary changes may be, it's essential to take proactive steps to realign your work with your purpose and avoid misalignment burnout.

Have the courage to make changes that will bring you closer to your true self and align with your purpose.

Remember, achieving true
alignment requires

Both~ intrinsic motivation
and self-awareness.

It's a journey that may take time, but it's worth the effort to restore balance and harmony.

And finally, refuse to allow yourself to be siphoned out by any role, position or environment that can easily dismiss you.

Take the necessary steps to create synergy within yourself and create a sense of inner peace and connection with the world around you.

You deserve to live a life in harmony with your true self.

You have the power to make that happen, stay empowered, and stay true to yourself.
